On September 1, 2015, Florida's Commissioner of Education Pam Stewart released the results of an independent validity test of the Florida Standards Assessments (FSA). The report -- conducted by Alpine Testing Solutions and edCount this summer -- found that the FSA scores are valid and accurately measure the academic progress of students in Florida.
