The ESEA Reauthorization Passes the U.S. Senate: By a vote of 95 to 12, the United States Senate today agreed to the Conference Report and passed S. 1177, the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) which will replace No Child Left Behind, the current iteration of E1965 Elementary and Secondary Education Act (ESEA).
